INTERNATIONAL CONSORTIUM ON
MINIMALLY INVASIVE PANCREATIC SURGERY
Minimally invasive pancreatic surgery (MIPS) has been shown to be feasible, safe and oncological efficient, when performed in pancreatic centres by experienced surgeons. In the next few years, further quick and wide expansion of MIPS is expected and it is essential that this continues to be safe and accompanied by a continuous development of a robust body of evidence supporting this novel approach.

The I-MIPS Consortium is a collaboration between the three continents of Europe, America and Asian-Pacific, aiming specifically at the safe introduction and further implementation of Minimally Invasive Pancreatic Surgery worldwide.
